Adam Milstein is the co-founder and National Chairman of the community empowerment program, Israeli-American Council (IAC). The main agenda of the program is to create unity between Israeli-American community through social activism. It is important for the bond of the people in Israel and America to be strengthened because it leads to improved support for Israel’s welfare, educational system, and security by the United States.
Adam Milstein is also a leader in the community, philanthropist and active in the investment of real estate. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces, IDF during the times of the Yom Kippur War. Adam received his undergraduate degree in 1978 from Technion and his MBA in 1983 from the University of Southern California. He also serves at Hager Pacific Properties, a privately owned commercial real estate firm, as the Managing Partner. Given the frustrations that he underwent in looking for a job after doing his MBA, he decided to go on his own and became a commercial broker for real estate. It is after three successful years that he decided to become a real estate investor.
Adam Milstein admits to having various ups and downs in real estate. Having to keep up with supplies for rising demands while there is a depreciating economy always brings about the fluctuation of prices. As an entrepreneur, he constantly must rely on himself to understand the underlying problems and come up with well thought of solutions.
It is through his philanthropy that Adam Milstein gets satisfied in his day-to-day activities. Together with his wife Gila, they provide free books in Hebrew that teach the Jewish values to over 15,000 of Israeli-Jewish-Americans in America. He is the co-founder of Sifriyat Pijama B’ America, a non-governmental organization that provides the books monthly.
In addition to Adam’s funding organizations, he and his wife Gila run the Milstein Family Foundation, an organization that supports several other Pro-Israel Organizations to strengthen the State of Israel. He assists the employees in ensuring all the time and effort that they put into serving the people of Israel succeeds and creates a positive impact. They do this by contributing their ideas and expertise to implementing programs that ensure their deeds are successful.
